| Warranty Repairs
In the unlikely event that a product you have purchased from us should fail during the warranty period then you should contact us immediately.
If we are unable to resolve the problem over the phone or through e-mail correspondance then you can return the product to us for a more thorough evaluation.
If we are able to confirm the fault as reported we can then arrange for the product to be returned to the manufacturer who will inspect it themselves and either
arrange for a repair or replacement.
Out of Warranty Repairs
If you product is out of warranty then you can still return the item to us. You will be charged a minimum deposit of between £55 and £150 depending on the product and the service agent used to inspect and repair the product. The fee covers the shipping costs and the time for an engineer to inspect the item. If the fault is minor and can be fixed within this price then there will be no additonal charge. However, in most cases there will be a balance payable when the product is returned to us for any parts and
additional labour costs. We will normally advise you of any significant charges beyond the initial deposit before the work is completed.
Many manufacturers operate a fixed-price service policy for which you will be quoted a price for repairing the unit. In this case we will ask for a deposit with the
balance due on completion of the work.
Products not purchased from Adventures in HiFi
Your first port of call for any problems you have with a product should always be the original retailer of the product. If this is not possible for any reason then we are will still be able to arrange warranty repairs on most items, but reserve the right to charge a handling fee.
General Repairs
We offer an in-house repair service for selected manufacturers, and for others we use an authorised service agent.
